You Jae Ryuk, or Ryuk is photographer who is passionate and committed to his profession
and subjects and generous in spirits to share his love and knowledge of photography, classic cameras and rare lenses
with friends and strangers.
He is brave enough to take risks of leaving behind a beloved family in Korea, and wander-off to Southeast Asia (namely, Malaysia)
for almost 16 years to document his subjects(people, of course) and focus his lens over the country's landscape, natural history,
colorful patchwork of urban communities and forest dwellers of the Malay Archipelago!
His published works are titled, "Malaysia In My Eyes", "For the Love of Labuan", "First Formula One Grand Prix 1999",
and the "The Heritage Cuisine of the Abode of Grace".
LATEST NEWS ABOUT RYUK: After working more than a year on this book project with ballerina Moon Hoon Sook, the coffee-table
book is completed and schedule to be launched today, October 22, 2004.
